INFORMATION PRIVACY PRINCIPLES

At First National Bank, our mission is to determine the financial needs of our customers and help them achieve their established goals by being an effective partner through our employees, directors, shareholders, and community involvement. As financial service professionals entrusted with sensitive financial information, we respect the privacy of our customers and are committed to treating customer information responsibly. Our Information Privacy Principles serve as standards for all First National Bank employees for collection, use, retention, and security of individual customer information.

At First National Bank, we believe the confidentiality and protection of consumer information is one of our fundamental responsibilities. And while information is critical to providing quality service, we recognize that one of our most important assets is our customers’ trust.

First National Bank collects nonpublic information about you, such as your income, date of birth, social security number, and address from the following sources:

  • Information we receive from you on applications and other forms;

  • Information about your transactions with us or others; and

  • Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency.

We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about you to anyone, except as permitted by law, such as sending information returns to the Internal Revenue Service, responding to subpoenas and providing information to consumer reporting agencies; i.e. credit bureaus. In the event First National Bank, at any time decides to disclose to unaffiliated third parties any non-public personal information about you except as required by law, specifically allowed by law, or requested directly or indirectly by you, the Bank will first provide you prior written notice of intent to disclose and provide you the right to elect not to grant such disclosure.

If you decide to close your account(s) or become an inactive customer, we will adhere to the privacy policies and practices as described in this notice.

First National Bank restricts access to your personal and account information to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. First National Bank maintains physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your nonpublic personal information.

1. I authorize First National Bank to make financial transactions for me and any joint owner(s) when it receives the proper electronic impulses through the Automated Teller and MasterCard Check Card System. I agree to accept the Bank’s card and I agree the Bank may treat the entry of instructions accompanied by my personal Identification Number (PIN) plus the use of my card bearing the magnetic pattern assigned to me and the joint account owner(s) and any future replacement card, as being the same as a written withdrawal order, or other order as applicable bearing my signature.

2. I assume all responsibility to the limits by law for each use of the card, my PIN or the magnetic pattern assigned by the Bank until I have notified the Bank not to honor them.

3. I understand that all references on the attached ATM/MasterCard Money Card Application refer to First National Bank’s ATM/MasterCard Money Card and are not an application for a credit card.

By submitting below, I (we) acknowledge that I (we) have read and understand the conditions of the application and have received a copy of the ATM/MasterCard MoneyCard agreement (Regulation E Disclosure). I (we) authorize First National Bank to check my (our) credit.
